Opt In - Waffles

This week's cooking opt in was Waffle making.
They were so yummy!

Opt Ins: Cooking Chocolate Muffins

What a lucky coincidence that it was Zoe's birthday the same day we were doing Chocolate Muffins!  She requested blue icing and we managed to find some tricky candles that kept lighting back up when she blew them out! All of the children enjoyed making the muffins... and eating them ;)

Digging in the school flower garden

We have been learning how to recognise, and write the letter d.
So...Today was a great day for digging.

We are going to plant flowers so we can pick them for the office to brighten up people's day.
We went into the garden with the tools we needed

The flower plants were there...

 We put gloves on ...

                                          And we dug the plants in...

Look at our flower garden...

We put 'bee friendly' flower plants around the beetroot and carrot plants already planted by the gardening group.

Rachel set up and started the sprinkler to give them a drink!

Now we have to be patient and wait for them to grow...

We will regularly pop over to our garden to see how they are growing. 

We loved digging!

We can't wait to be able to pick them for giving to people!
