Distance Learning Wednesday 6th May Examples!

BOO! Check out some of these scary monsters made out of recycled materials! Some of us even named them! How cool is that!

Here is Lulu the monster created by Maddy. She likes to eat worms, but her favourite thing to do is to play with all of her friends.. sound's a bit like Miss Maddy too! Maybe not the eating worms part...

Jaxon decided to make his monster off the Roblox game he loves! His monster is almost life size! Wow! Keep up the good work Jaxon!

Check out Paige W's monster! This one is looking a little scary.. Aren'y his eyes and hair really cool! The attention to detail in this monster is amazing!

This is Jackson's Monster called Mikey the Monster! Look at his cool little arms and eyes!

This is Rin's Monster. Its a Bunny monster with fairy wings to fly and can spit fire out of the gem on its head! Wow. Very creative Rin!

Aidan's monster isn't super scary but look how amazing it is! Looking a bit crazy if you ask me!

Ilma's monster is pretty in pink! It has four eyes and purple arms and legs! Very cool Miss Ilma!

Bede's Robot comes with instructions he wrote himself on how to use it and its powers. Well done Bede! I love how much recycling you managed to use in your monster too!

Here is Michaela's crazy looking monster! The face even looks scared! Amazing work!

Distance Learning Wednesday 6th May 2020

Kia Ora Piako Rua

Here is your learning challenge for today. Today we will be creating 3D monsters or robots using recycling bin materials. Make sure you watch all of the video first before continuing onto the creating of your monster. You may need to pause, rewind and stop the clip for some inspiration.

I want you to take this opportunity to get as creative as you can. What is your monsters name? What are the different bits of your monster? Remember: there isn’t a right or wrong answer for this one, so it is a time to get crafty with the things you find at home.

There is a bit of a monster theme going on for today! Here are the links discussed in the video:

It would be really cool to see some of your creations with some of the things you can find around home and especially out of your recycling bin. Invite your brothers and sisters to make one with you too if you would like! Can’t wait to see some photos!

Here are some demonstrations of other people making some monsters if you have the time to watch!

Bird feeders, plans and pictures.

Wow! How many wonderful ideas to make your bird feeders! You have been working so hard! I am amazed with your pictures and plans. Well done Piako Rua :)
